My Leave

View leave entitlement, balance, history

Staff can see their leave and sickness history, leave entitlement and balance as well as send in leave requests or sickness reports from this section.

The leave types listed on top of the table are configurable and can be tailored as per your organisation’s policy. The annual entitlement refers to the number of leave days that staff member can take during that particular absence period (usually a calendar year).

Each leave record can be clicked to view further details such as the days on which only a part of the day was booked off.

Requesting leave

After you have signed in, navigate to the 'My Leave' section of your Self Service Portal.&nbsp;<br><br>Then click the&nbsp;<b><i>Request leave</i></b><i></i> button.

You can change your leave type with the&nbsp;<b><i>Type</i></b><i></i> dropdown list.&nbsp;<br>

<span>Click the&nbsp;</span><b><i>From</i></b><span>&nbsp;field to select the first date of your leave.</span><br>

A calendar will pop up. For this tutorial, we will request leave between 19 and 21 July 2017.&nbsp;<br><br><span>Select&nbsp;</span><b><i>19</i></b><span>&nbsp;as the start date.</span><br>

<span>Now click the&nbsp;</span><b><i>Until</i></b><span>&nbsp;field to select the last date of your leave.</span><br>

<span>As with the&nbsp;</span><b><i>From</i></b><span>&nbsp;date, we get a popup calendar. We want the last day of leave to be the 21st, so select&nbsp;</span><b><i>21</i></b><span>.</span><br>

<span>After the dates have been selected, they are displayed individually. You can now specify what proportion of each day you would like to take as leave.&nbsp;</span>

Lastly, we will add a description to the leave request.&nbsp;<br><br>Click on the&nbsp;<span class=""><i><b>Notes </b></i>box.</span>

Type in your notes.&nbsp;

Once you are happy with your leave request, click <span class=""><i><b>Submit.&nbsp;</b></i></span>

Once submitted, a confirmation message appears at the top of the screen. <br><br>The request will notify your manager for approval so all you need to do is wait.&nbsp;
